Hard beasts to capture well in my experience - nice result. What's the MFD?

Purrfect subject for a wide open test. Nailed the eyes with a single hair visible across his left eye in the larger version.

Seems a fairly shallow dof for 5.6 at this distance but sharp enough and the bokeh looks OK.

Your cat looks almost as enthused as you were. Even with all those problems, I still like the shot.

easy fav. Love the blind slats interaction with it's shadow gritty black and white. nicely composed.

A real blinder of a shot, with new comment font, but how do we access the smileys and the thumbs?

Enlightening! I haven't even tried using the cube with my phone. The app hasn't really inspired me to use it much at all... Which is a shame. It's a nice piece of hardware. But the only way I use it involves ~20 clicks - first 10 to go via max back to off, then count more carefully on the next round!

What a nightmare. I've never tried to use my cubes other than as stand-alone constant light sources and they serve me well in that regard. When I first got them they did work as slave strobes fired by the camera flash but that was a novelty I've not pursued. A nice blue light though to complement Neo's fur tones, although I refer the next shot along.

Nice idea with the shot.
Good hardware is so often let down by mediocre(at best) software, it always seems to be an afterthought no one really cares about.
