And no, can't notice any lack of inspiration in the images. I know the feeling all too well, though. Including the seeing lots of subjects when there's no opportunity to shoot them.

i agree. for me i thnk it's about the flair and the bit of extra sense of ambiance from it that the color conveys... and there is that bit of warmth where the light lands on the bottom branch in the right corner... or actually i think it might be a clay pot..

yes, it was actually a toss up for me between color and bw for each pair and had a hunch you might prefer the color. thanks for viewing them.
