The red/pink/blue/purple combos immediately reminded me of my first IR forays with Kodak's colour IR transparency film.

NIK's GND is my favourite, quite user friendly with (usually) good control.

Yeah, thinking it's a combo of the glow off the water since it was high sun and bright, and my use of the RT GND tool which is a weaker tool in the RT kit imho so I usually do that in Nik-CFX, but was being lazy.

Once again you are such an astute observer. Yes, shot was done with thumb to shutter button and no timer or remote as it was just a test shot. Also shot with travel tripod and center column extended which is all recipe for movement but still not enough (mostly thanks to the light-weight I'd guess) to hinder the shot as much as the under-exposure, imho.

Seems to be a faint glowy band across the centre; maybe some thin smoke trapped over the water ???
