I think the other frames are more ARTy, but if this one wants to advertise, that's cool. Wonderfully sharp macro, and all of them are testament to the MacroTak.

Lovely focus to bring out the structure/texture of the knurling.

There's a bronze overtone here (to my eyes) that really appeals, and the little patches of colour look good, but I find the distant light coloured object a bit distracting.

This is a pretty cool focus play too.

M for Mighty big. Nice how you've placed focus on it with the foremost arc blurred but allowing two focus areas on the knurled knobs either side.

When comparing all these macros as thumbnails, this one calls to me most in terms of composition and that powerful burstie. I like the bronze toning on the two next door but composition wins on balance.

Nice little starburst on this one. Underexposing these does not seem to detract from the shots.

Yeah, it was just a jump out of car while Kim was getting her refill at Starbucks moment. Only brought the camera along for the ride and no other gear. I could have 'fixed' it better had I more pp time and energy. Had a few other shots from this parking lot with farther away focus/subjects and the sky as background, but still liked this one best despite it being dark.

Has a dynamic feel with the trunk curving round like that.

Overly dark foreground (for me) and given that's where the focus is - FWIW I'd have done a little bit of low power light painting.
