Actually concerned about this lens. It's the one I dropped that night doing the freeway LE's and I've been been seeing haziness here and there. It comes and goes.

Yeah, on tripod (I will show you a shot of my handy little phone holder sometime that I mount to an arca plate. Got it a long time ago for cheap, came with a mini gorrilapod type tripod, and discovered after years that it is adaptable...) And all frames IR. Definitely too fidgety to try removing the filter. I did drop it and it almost rolled down and entire flight of stairs but I blocked it just in time.

The light's obviously getting a bit challenging now, for both camera and beach users, but there's still plenty of people detail to encourage inspection. Lovely mood - end of good beach day with the evening coolness setting in.
