My wife would have kittens if she saw Sapphy under the bedclothes. I've just talked to her about her fur control work, and she reminded me of the 'Furminator' brush she uses to groom the cat and groom areas where fur falls. It works well. Funnily enough, our eldest daughter (12 at the time) promised us Sapphy's breed was a not molting breed. How wrong she was.

What an incredible statue...reminds me, we must go back to Santa Fe sometime...where we saw other incredible statues. Too big to bring back to London. So we selected a fine piece of blown glass. 'Where was this made?' I asked as I got my credit card out. 'Oh, in Campden, London-England.' We put the glass back and selected a piece of 'genuine American-Indian' black pottery.

I've never seen light described as 'peachy or pear light' but this is what it looks to me. Gorgeous.

Classic! Sapphy gets so annoyed when the mouse goes off the edge of the screen - looking behind the monitor to see where its gone. Have the tried those cat 'friendly' videos of birds?

...and sorry to read about breathing difficulties. We don't allow our cat in the bedrooms at night; she's locked in the kitchen/sitting room. And because this area is her home*, she doesn't sleep on our beds or spend much time in our bedrooms during the day. Plus we purchased a new 'animal fur' vacuum cleaner to suck up all the hairs...quite a few times a week. It's a constant battle of the fur.
*she actually loves her space. When we have guests round for dinner, if they stay late, she's start to walk around and around the kitchen table, as if to say, 'go home I want to relax'. She's also happy when we go to bed after watching a late film.

Ah there's the answer to my fur concerns. This is a lovely photo, her colours match a blue background so well. Love the outstretched paw, ready to play with any passing object or bird.
