Gorgeous sundown scarlet. Such photogenic flowers, and even though the sun's almost "gone" you still got the tiny hairs on the stigmas to "glow".

yep, those were the first to appear toward the end of our excursion. only had the K-3 and super zoom with me.

he's carrying a rock! it was very much an impromptu excursion. didn't even bring any sunblock and got a bit of burn for it despite my best shade hunting efforts. with Zion if I had given him too much info before we left he may have not even gone...
