The best of the set I reckon. Very nice artistic character, mild abstraction even; love that wide streak of yellow dappling in the brown.

This seems crisper, but the colour's not as vibrant as the neighbouring shots.

All sorts of competing factors in this game eh - fast shutter needs wide aperture; high ISO noise etc going in another direction. I prefer this image with the dark ripples on light water cf the light ones on dark, but that's just a personal preference. I'd like to see the lens combo pointed at some stars, or the moon, or little birds far away, but I'm still enjoying your experiments here.

This one's got enough on the mark to shine. The background bokeh's nice too.

I've always liked that guitar painting. The reds here are so warm and rich.

Must try to invest in some music art like this (for wont of a better description) for our house and girls....Louisa won her schools talent competition with her band last night, playing the Arctic Monkey's "Bet you look good on the dancefloor". Her guitar teacher is a young modern rock dude and is taking her places I'd rather she not go...but she's really enjoying making as much noise as possible in a band right now. ("Take it to 11"! I've been saying aka Spinal Tap).
