School...ugh...thank goodness it's half term next week for our girls, the bitch*ness and hysteria reached fever pitch this week......

I'd frame it! Serene monochromes. Nice 3-D look too. Even tiny details like the one light on only are interesting.

+1 Rod. The pavement light/shadows, excellent.

Yes, one of the few lenses capable of PF'ing at all stops!

Also super impressed with the smooth/round bokeh-balls at f8.

En balance, I like this one the best, with the dabs of colour/bokeh top left, but most of all the light and whites here are epic. I've always thought my Tamron (same lens) delivers some of the crispest colours of all when the sun is out.

I like this one too as others have said it does capture her mood/feelings. She reminds me of my god daughter (who's 18 now). She's very bright but school just was never her thing. She graduated with a scholarship last spring but always found school a less than pleasurable experience.

Pensive but the pillow seems to offer comfort/security. A bit hard to say. An interesting study.

I'm with Kim on this one. I like the side-on pov and the brilliant hair texture; the lamp and its glow on the wall are great too.
