Love this two; it's almost a spiral with a trick of the eye.

Wack! You've nailed it, out the park. Absolutely love how the flaragons are mingling with the flare rays, as the rays attack from the left. But they fail to hit the hedge, protected by.......spider's webs! Set the protector webs to MAX, Captain!

I've looked through them all and I agree, this is the one. You got that spherical Heliod thing going on at the top, and the explosive reds. Fun to do I hope...and very clean; sometimes flare with the Helios 44-2 can be rather oily.

Nice. Best bokeh I've seen from a FA43mm for a long time.
Agree with your choice although 51 and 52 give it a nudge. It's the greater complexity of these three that appeals.

Thanks mate; just a couple of quiet ales this year, and some nips of malt for Robbie Burns the night before
Your inventiveness has paid off again - great return for $10.
You've focussed on part of Sth America I'd love to explore more, but the best bit imho is oof Patagonia further south. There's an Aussie lass presently walking from Punta Arenas down the bottom, all the way up to Barrow, Alaska. She's allowed herself three years and if she completes it she'll be the first woman to do so!

How cool finding one of these chappies - very photogenic but never seen one of these multi-big-eyes to work with.
